[PIAS] Group is looking for a Digital Operations Manager to join the Repertoire Operations team at their head office in Bermondsey.

The role is focused on ensuring the smooth day-to-day throughput of all new release digital content. This includes ensuring that quality control standards are met and that work is delegated across the team. A natural problem solver, the Digital Operations Manager will be the first point of escalation for issues within the team, for both internal departments and external clients. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in operating integrated technical supply chain systems and of interacting with DSPs on a regular basis.

Key responsibilities

• Overseeing technical issue resolution and ensuring that any issues are addressed in a timely manner
• Overseeing the provision of regular scheduling meetings with repertoire units
• Contributing to continuous knowledge sharing and development within the team
• Ensuring that workload is effectively delegated across the team as necessary
• Performing regular supply chain health-checks
• Advising clients on non-standard release plans
• Contributing to delivery of department projects as required
• Direct line manager to at least 2 team members
• Being first escalation point for the team
• Dealing with critical issues as they arise in a confident and sympathetic manner
• Report to and support the Head of Repertoire Operations

Skills & experience

• An ability to work accurately under time pressure with a good eye for detail on multiple and diverse tasks
• Outstanding knowledge of industry metadata style guides essential
• Experience with Digital Service Provide Content Management Systems essential
• Demonstrable knowledge of DDEX ERN and proprietary XML formats
• An ability to communicate with all staff at the highest and lowest levels both internally and external
• Experience of managing a small team
• Confident communicator
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook advanced knowledge of Excel
